It is common to find a little of yourself in all nine of the types, although one of them should stand out as being closest to yourself. This is your basic personality type”.
An Enneagram personality test doesn’t put you in one distinct box like some personality systems do. Instead, it helps you to see your potential, to grow, expand, learn more about yourself and be the best you can.

What to expect in a session with Gestalt Therapist Lesley McPherson
Never been to a counselling session before? Here’s an idea of what to expect.
- Sessions last for one hour
- You will be asked to fill out basic form with information such as your contact details, local doctor, any medications you may be taking and your reason/s for making the appointment.
- Lesley will explain the private and strictly confidential nature of the session
- Lesley will help you feel at ease and answer any questions you might have
- You may be asked some questions to help Lesley better assess the issues and determine how she can best provide you support and guidance
- You talk and Lesley listens. Unlike some therapists, Lesley doesn’t take notes as this interferes with her giving you her full attention
- You can expect complete focus on what you are saying
- Lesley and you will work together to identify issues and implement strategies as to how to make progress towards personal growth and change
- You will be offered you a regular appointment time to help build and progress.
ZOOM and SKYPE Sessions Available
In times of Covid-19 Restrictions, and indeed at all times, I am available to conduct treatment sessions via Skype or Zoom. At all other times, if you are too ill to come to my rooms, we can consult in this manner, or I may be able to visit you at your home or hospital.
